Thebes - slightly easier way to deal with the deck
To prepare the deck:

Remove all the exhibitions. Shuffle the remaining cards. Pull off the top third of the deck and *discard* it. Then discard the five large exhibition cards. Finally shuffle the five small exhibitions randomly into the bottom of half of the draw deck. That's it, you're done.

As cards get discarded, they're added to the already-fat discard pile. But you have no weird rules left that you have to remember. Simply, when the draw pile runs out, you shuffle the discards and make a new draw pile -- just like always.

I find this easier..

Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! - Russia 1941-1942 - Berserk/Cowering and range
If a foot unit gains a Berserk or Cowering hit counter, its range is set to 1. Does this mean all attacks at range 1 are normal or short range? If short, then the +1 on the counter would really be +4 at range 1 (in effect, the unit has no normal range)?

Caylus - Build residence over worked pink
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I seemed couldn't find it, whether in forum or rules. So here's the situation:

My favor track on 4th row was on 3rd column. Then, I go into jousting and get favor on 4th row. Could I replace the pink that had worker on them, or just the empty one? Or the building is delayed? Or what?

Thanks for answering.

Thebes - Is it common not to exhaust the draw deck?
Just a quick question:

We played our first game of this tonight (with 3 players) and never reached the final deck of cards. In the game setup, after drawing the first four cards for the board, you make three stacks from the remaining cards and shuffle the 10 exhibition cards into stacks #2 and #3. You then reserve stack #3 until after the draw deck has been exhausted.

Well, we never exhausted the draw deck, so we never saw deck #3. Is this normal? I can't think of anything we did wrong, but it seemed odd not to have a crack at the exhibition cards in deck 3. Actually, the exhibition cards in general seemed to play much less of a factor than I expected after reading the rules--I think only four of them were executed by players in the entire game.

Descent: The Road to Legend - Can RtL Dungeon Levels Be Played with Core Descent Rules?
My five year old enjoys playing core Descent, but her attention span can't last an entire 2-4 hour map. Sometimes we leave a map set up for a few days and can play the map in several sessions, but after a while we hear the lamentations of the household's true Overlord, complaining that the dining room table looks cluttered and the monsters don't match the decor. We are invariably forced to box it up, never getting past the first or second area of a dungeon. It sounds like the RtL maps tend to be much smaller, so I was wondering, can they be played with "core" Descent rules? Perhaps they might allow us to finish a map before the Overlord amasses enough threat to utter the dreaded "Word of Tidiness"?
